this is possibly a real stoopid question but i dont know what the law is....
if i put my number plate in my windscreen then can i drive my car around even tho its not got a front bumper or drivers side front wing at the mo?!

i cant see it being a problem as long as it is clearly visable and if you do get pulled just explain its a temporary measure and your very sorry

just say some body was unscrewing it, you cuaght them and they legg'd it, your gonna get some screws out the shed when you get home

u have no front bumper or wing....
its classed as dangerous to drive around like that, due to all the sharp edges and that.... so would be illegal
the number in the rear window should be ok for temp place to put it
