Was clamped last week, and had no option but to pay, so am thinking about buying some bolt cutters for next time. It was tied round one of the springs so couldn't roll the wheel out or remove the wheel, so would have to cut either the padlock, or the chain.
What are the legalities of removing clamps eg criminal damage etc?
How can you remove it without being prosecuted?
cheers

Yeh, thats the easy answer
Nah, in my job i have to park in dodgy-ish places, as i have access to car park fobs and codes, but my car isn't registered with the security firms that patrol them.
if that makes sense

illegal in Scotland. let your tyre down can remove some clamps alternatively get someone else to remove the clamp and take pictures to prove it was not you.

I'm liking that taking pictures part, i could just take pics at various stages in removal with no one in the pic and just say ''it seemed to remove itself''

Had a read through, and there are lots of 'ideas' but nothing in stone.
Just gotta watch out for clear signage where ever i park and be careful.
Still gonna get some cutters though!
cheers fellas

dont always work, they ran a chain round my mates car, proper rapped it up, he was in his dads truck next to it at the time! lol. id remove it the send it to some police station miles away! with a note saying whos it is, then they will have to go collect it if they want it back! say you found it lol!
