I aint got a corsa but im hoping that u friendly bunch of people will help
I brought an alpine MRPM350 mono bloc amp bout 3 months ago, i have just come to fit it in my car now, it was great for bout 10 mins.
I didnt even have it on full power cause i was gonna leave it for a week so it can settle.
It sort of crackled then went bang, no more amp. There is no power getting to it, the power/remote and ground leads have all been double checked and its still not getting any power to it.
Why???
The company that I brought it off dont seem intrested in getting it sorted even when i told them that I would pay to get it fixed if i was the cause of it.
Im desperate cause im running my sub of a jbl gto amp at the mo and have had to make space on the amp for it, so am losing a set of speakers

checked all fuses?
is there power at the amp end of the power cable? if not then its along the power cable

u buy mail order? thats when the cheap prices arent so appealing.

the fuses had not blown but i have replaced them just in-case.
there is power getting to the end of the cable cause i swapped the power leads around that running my other amp.
its earthed to the car body, in the back under the spare wheel.
yes it was mail order, never again, id rather pay more and speak to someone face-to-face.

just an update, i went to change a cd today in the boot and i heard a massive bang.
the amp powered up again and is staying on, but there is no sound coming out to the speakers, the gain is up and all the other nobs have been turned up correct.
could it be a problem with the head unit
