If you got laptops running a Windows 2000+ OS you can save on a virtual netowrok drive (i.e. a small part of your hard drive) then when the laptop is docked all the files saved on the virtual netowork drive will be updated to the actual network. Just a thought?

yea, we have something similar at school. You save everything to the laptop/desktop (in your own my documents folder) and when you logout it sync's all the files with storage server and deletes the files from the computer.

I just say if you havent followed the back up rules then there isnt anything i can do for you!
I once had a developer open a 300odd mb .wav file on her machine which then blew up NT big stylee!
she hadnt back up any of her work in the last three months ( they are meant to do a daily back up, weekly and a monthly) she tried to turn the blame on me but it didnt work!
Shes left now
