Need advise on how to do this please. Is it easy? I have never done any mechanical work before. How long would it take to do? My local garages are wanting between £50 - £60 to do it.

Really simple mate. Take off the 2 bolts on the back of the caliper, slide the caliper off, slide the pads out, slide the new ones in. Then use a clamp to compress the cylinder in the caliper, and slide it back on and do the nuts up again.

as above but you only need to undo the lower bolt - nearest the floor. then just lift the middle of the caliper up and you have access to the pads.
