Picked up some new rear brake drums today after ordering them at partco yesterday. Goes and takes one of the oldies off, put new fitting kit on, grease up the silver shiney new drum and plant it on. Puts the bearing back in and this is when i realise its the wrong drum. It doesn't have the taper for the bearings at all so it wobbles about.

Really annoying putting old ones back on

The new ones look identical exceot for the taper. I thought the tapered bits were removable looking at the old ones, but they won't budge. Says nothing about this in the Haynes either.
