You need an SMTP server that'll let you relay mail through it without being authenticated - not a huge chance of that happening though TBH
Try smtp.blueyonder.co.uk
When you send a message you'll probably get a '550' error though. Basically because you're not using that ISP for your connection, it doesn't know you from Joe so wont relay mail for you.

Or you could download your own SMTP server from Tucows.com, and run one on your own machine (to do outgoing only)?
That's what I ended up doing on a mate's machine who was using AOL...

It's not normally authenticated, but the source IP is usually checked and most ISPs will normally only relay for IP address they own...

it will only work for a short while ,
AOL do have SMTP mail servers but nobody is allowed to use them , as soon as you do AOL's abuse department will notice the traffic and stop all access from you IP.
Use www.mail2web.com
