Just starting to learn to drive (First lesson this Thursday, \o/), so I'm looking into the different cars I could afford.
Is there any realistic chance that I could find a Corsa for less than £1100 that's done 60k miles or less, or am I pushing my luck there?
I don't really want to be buying a 10 year old car with 90k miles on the clock.
Edit - 1.2 preferably, and most likely will be a GLS, LS or lower spec, due to lower insurance on them. Had a look into the SXi, but it's too much to buy one in the first place :/
Edit edit - bloody spelling mistake

It all depends how much it is going to cost
It's a first car, on my own insurance (19 year old). It's going to be expensive enough, cheapest quote I've had so far is £700 for TPF&T for a 1.2 GLS Corsa. As far as I know, the 16v is on the 1.4 and up only. If that's the case, I've got no chance of being able to afford one, due to the insurance being £920+ (Cheapest so far anyway).
At the end of the day, it's going to be my first car. I'll only probably be using it for 2 or 3 years, by which time I should be able to afford something much better.

After looking at the Parker's website, there are 16v models.
http://www.parkers.co.uk/choosing/tech_data/index.aspx?range_id=449
So, if I can find one at an affordable price when that time comes, then that's what I'll go for

It's not the insurance that puts me off buying an SXi, as it's within about £40 of a GLS. It's the cost of the car itself. The cheapest I have seen for one so far was on Autotrader website a few weeks back at £2500 which is too much for me.
