wat can police do if they catch u with no middle silencer??
its a full cat back, group A, twin dtm style system
i think it will be really load coz the silencer is big! and the backbox is quite small!! wat u reckon?
and will have to get a replacement pipe going from standard bore size to group A size! probly costly init?

i don;t think it matters that you've taken it out, i think the bottom line is the number of decibels your car makes. that is what is important as far as cops go.

ok so all police can do is give me a fine for noise pollution???? as long as dont get points for it
its illegal to take out the "cat" though right? and can get 3 points?
would their be a bhp gain/loss, acceleration loss/gain with the removal of the "silencer"?
cheers

there is no limit on how loud, but it is:
ILLEGAL to have any exhaust fitted that makes the car nosier than factory standard, and they can make u return it to standard if they want.

right i see, so its good to hav the standard system in your garage in case they do, n then just change it back after you hav told them?
so would their be in any way through the rev range a bhp gain/loss, acceleration gain/loss with the removal of the "silencer"?
