can someone please help me, i have smoothed my boot, and fitted a solenoid, but the f*ckin thing wont open as it sits on the latch, there was a pic on here somewhere showing you where to cut the catch plate/lock, does anyone have this or could show me? or tell me a better way? help much apprciated!

I think if you remove the panel from inside the car on the boot, you can get to the lock. Its obvious how it works, cos there is a set of levers, just work it a little to unlock it.

nah mate, that aint the prob, its the actual catch on the lock which needs attention, but dont wanna cut it and make an arse of it and have to get a new one! cheers tho
