im wanting to add some small neons here and there each operated by a switch, im wanting one, under the ashtray jus above the centre console, one under each foot well (operated by one switch for both), and im not sure where else i dont want to illuminate the whole car just the odd few to ligten the car up in dark when parked. wud i be best buyin the neons seperate then wiring them up, also can i jus tap into the live wires and where wud i earth them.
also how easy wud it to be to hook em up to a switch?
any info it appreciated cheers.

i wired mine up to the ciggie lighter wires, then put an inline switch set into my glove box. the ciggie lighter wires are perfect as they are fused and nice and thick too. brown is live and black is earth.

You lose your ciggie lighter though that way. But if you don't use it it's much quicker, and easier way to install. If you want your ciggie lighter then you will need to wire the neons to the battery??
Hooking them up to a switch is easy. Check out eBay, you can buy 2 footwell neons, all wiring, and a switch for £8. And they are good too!!! Cant say fairer than that

You can still have use of the ciggy lighter by just tapping into the power and soldering the wires. Works for me anyway :-)

cant you just wire pos +neg from back of hu assuming they have transformers???

I got my posotive from HU in old car, n negative at an earth point near footwell. worked.
