ok.any tips on how to get the final surface u want no ripples etc.for instance.i made a grill.its kind of rounded and it ripples .spent ages filling smoothing etc and it smoothed its self out.so its perfect.took alot of time bearing in mind was sanded by hand.any tips on gettin a proper finnish quicker except leccy sander

yeah I had this problem in the past, I learnt to use a anding block with a nice flat surface, this will minimise and in most cases avoid any riples.

Yup, their right, block nd guide coating will avoid ripples

UPOL High Build Filler Primer is f**king excellent stuff for final finishing (ie: getting rid of the pin holes etc)
£10 for a 500ml can, but well worth it!
