Just need a pop up box that appears for 5 seconds then disapears for when the database is opened! Can't remember how to do it?

you need to create a splash screen

firstly create a form that you want to be displayed then go to tools startup and select the splash screen option in the display form box choose the form you have just created and click ok the screen should then appear on startup.

Using Access 97 so doesn't have the Splash Screen option I dont think
