Basically u cannot c the pipe very well but its simular size to the air intake pipe but its rubber.

It's only a vacuum pipe. You can see where it goes on the bottom-left of this pic.

Wrap a load of tape around the pipe for the time being.
I'm not sure where all the vacuum pipes go - there's half a dozen that connect to the inlet manifold... just block them up for a laugh and see what happens...

Drain header tank, remove it and put a bung in the end of the header tank hose.
That should get you enough clearance.
