As above ppl its only on the short term few months till the cash comes in for some adjustables but will it be ok on the sri dampers as there stiffer than the norm corsa ones ??

Its ok as a temporary measure but ride quality will be shite!! Mines down 60mm on standard shocks and handles like a sack of shit Its fine on a flat road but slight bumps feel like mountains

I have a 95 Sri, on 60mm Pi nova springs n standard shocks, no probs except very hard ride

it corners fine, doesnt move an inch, its like driving a go kart

What about lowering 40mm on a standard 99 sport shocks

i agree mine is also lowered on the standard shocks and it corners really well, just as as been said a bit of a rough ride

you are always going to get a rough ride , but worse with std shocks, and more bumpy, even if u can life with that the std shocks will nacker up quickly becasue they cant cope,
just buy some gmax gas shockers from larkspeed.com i have them wiht 17s and gmaz - 40 rear and fk - 40 front springs and its really good to drive
although i want -50 all round now anyione want to swap ^ springs for-50 front / rear?

Yeah but the SRi, and GSi I assume has uprated shocks anyway and my cars been lowered fo years and years with no probs, touch wood LOL
