You took off the wrong bolt, you're supposed to undo the 2 that are attatched to the caliper, they are smaller than them bolts.

Despite the pictures shown here, I would recommend against purchasing Green Stuff Pads with Turbo Groove discs as they are shite. Many people on here have horror stories to tell including me with major brake fade coupled with warped discs after 1000 miles. Pay the extra and get a proper performance set.

had a go at the brakes today. the two bolts are correct. you have to take them off otherwise the caliper can't come off. and you need the calipers off or you can't get the disc off. pain in the arse because that bolt is fucking hard! couldn't manage it so had to put calipers back together again. round 2 tomo when i come back with better tools.

Get 1.4/1.8 SRi Vented 260mm disks.

There bigger disks than they put on the astra GTE as standard, so there hardly shite

ABS sensors are in the driveshaft, not the brakes as far as i know. Besides, most 1.4's dont have ABS anyway, it was an option up until the facelift.

You sure about them catching? If you think about it, there fitted with 15's or 16's as standard, so shouldnt really catch on 17"s. Either way, you can always use some spacers to take the wheel out to ET40 without any problems of the wheels catching .

Im pretty sure you'll need to upgrade the calipers too, as the disks are alot wider when vented.
