any1 actually made there own front bumper???building over standard one????????if so what did u use to form shapes?wood,foam etc?

wud it not be easier to get a cheap spliter as the bottom bit fo the bumper and build up the sides and middlesbit etc how u want it?
but if it was me i wud use wud etc but then take the wood off so it leaves just the fibreglass and filler

i work in a body shop if someone wants a custom bumper we usually use the existing bumper used for the mounting points then we find another bumper of a simliar shape or if we have to cut one to fit! i will show you mine once they have been made!
