I hit a Buy Now button a few weeks ago by mistake. I felt really bad a bout this so i paid the seller the fees which come to £45. I contacted eBay about this and they said they have refunded the buyer the fees. He is nw saying that they have not paid him the fees back.
I just dunno what to do about this now. If i contact eBay they have said they will take the fees back off him but i'm still gonna be £45 down.

£45 though is like 2 weeks petrol money to me.
The Buy Now was for £2000 -- that's why it was £45

Not being funny, but how did you accidentally hit the buy it now button? It asks for a password and username b4 the bid is confirmed?
Theres bugger all you can do except leave negative feedback.

I was auto logged in At the time i was half asleep (3am) drunk again and my GF was being sick everywhere.
Just have to leave negative feedback i think.
I thinking -- as i send a cheque, maybe the bank could do something ???

Fair enough mate, it'd cost £20 to stop a cheque, but i think it'd depend on when it was cashed.
Tough luck dude.

In fact, did you get any emails from Ebay about a 'non paying bidder alert'?
If so then he has definitely claimed it back.
