Thats what i mean, the guy who posted the green one said it was a 4.0L 24V ...just wondering if it was a standard Euro engine or a conversion ...what was it out of?

Oooo, errrm, not sure, maybe its either a 3.0 24v senetor lump (looks like it to me) with hoooooge pistons and internals to make a 4.0
or
its an engine, possibly imported from the states, big block V8 4.0?
But looks like the old 3.0 24v from the carlton to me.

Yeah, but it looks like the old Carlton/senator unit thoguh and not the modern X32XE engine.

dad drove the 3.2l omega while his beema was garaged,
that was pretty powerful, esp as it was a heavy car,
he used it to go burnley from london and back, and said it drinked like a bitch, but was worth it apparently lol.

Americans have the omega too. its a caddy over there, and they ruined it with wrap around rear lights
Possible has a huge block in it if we know a thing or too about our american cousins
