i would rather be insured 3rd party anyway

if i crash, my engine is worth more than the car so i would be able to put the engine into another car if i wanted to. i dont want the insurance taking it away

Well 2.0 Cavs and Astras were quite economical if you didn't boot them, in the Corsa youcan feather the throttle and get 32 mpg even if you boot it sometimes, maybe more maybe less.

That's until some guy in a Mini Cooper S thinks he can barge you out of the way on a slip road and you nail it, thats when you get 50 miles to a tenner.

That's better than my 1.2 16v

I only get 280 miles (300 if I'm lucky) from about £35-£40

Though I do rag my car non stop.

Had my XE conversion about 2 weeks ago, had a few teething problems but on the whole i am absolutely loving it. Im 19 and paying £2040 insurace. Beem driving over 2 years but only have one years full no claims from one company, but am in the middle of sorting out the other one which will bring it to £1826. Thats fully comp in my own name with adrian flux. Its such a fun car to drive, and with coilovers handles pretty well despite what people say.
