it bolts into the rocker cover and allows the car to breathe better, stops oil surging into the throttle body under hard cornering by letting it drain back into the engine.
small hole is bolt hole. 2 large holes sit over the oil splash guard which need to be drilled - they allow oil to drain back.
i have one fitted they cost £27 for mild steel ones from courtenay (these are high grade stainless).
simple to fit just 2 holes to drill and some siliconing drilling and small allen bolts removal and refitting.
i'll try and find the artical in total vaux.
