As Mikey said, VLC media player! Plays every single video file on my PC that the others cant.

Winamp, but get the old 2.91 version...not the newer 5 version, because its full of shite and is really bloaty
As for video, i use winamp again...nout wrong with it, plus it will allow me to use a ASIO plugin for my soundcard
