decided to do some work on my 8v today

waxolied all the chassis and rear arches, painted the rear suspensions arms and drums



debadged it as well as i thought the badges looked crap



and took a pic of new strut brace on J18 (big thanks to andy hamilton for this )

how did u paint the drums? did u hav to send em down to get rust off etc? wat paint did u use?

wire brush them all then used smooth hammerite

becasue i don'y like induction kits, i have reserched this and relise they have very little gain in terms of what im doing, has a standard panel filter in it as well

havent got round to purchassing a performace version

Jr babe, did you have to clean the inside of the arches out on the Corsa?

With Waxoil can you just paint it on with a brush?

hello dear

i cleaned the arches on the 8v with a pressure washer, which was fun, took it back to the original grey coated metal

then heat can of waxoil up in bowl of boilling water, and paint it on

Would a bodyshop do this? Had some good news and as soon as my car gets back from Lee it goes in the bodyshop to have the bodywork done and thats one of the things I want done to make the inside of the arches look new.

do it yourself, you have done much more difficult things on the nova allready

i painted the whole underneath of the car in anti rust primer, and then a smooth hammerite (black) took ages i tell u
