Dose any no any way of uping the boost on a 1.7 DTI Corsa c

As any 1 ever done it and if so how hard is it

wind the actuator in,not hard to do but wouldnt reckomend it,lol

cos it would be running to much boost for the engine to cope with dont really know alot about turbo diesels but if you undo the rod that bolts into the actuator it will have a locking bolt at 1 end and screw it clockwise (shortening the rod) it will up the boost pressure and anti clockwise will do the opposite

so if i turn it once how much boost will it give me?

i will try it will only run it for 5 mins or so or wud that do damage. dose it not have over boost sensor or sumthin and if its over boostin open the waste gate or sumat like that to stop it damagein it?

I think vauxhall produced the new diesel engine but not 100%

If they are still made by Izuzu then this could be well worth a look:

No offence intended mate but you obviously have no idea what you are talking about mate so the best thing to do will be to leave it well alone!

If you want more boost, get a superchip or something.

Yes. This is correct.

U cant simply turn the actuator on these new engines. It will cause it to run worse if anything.

The fuelling has to be matched to the new boost levels, which is only achievable via the ecu. ie: chip/map

the new ones arn't isuzu, best way on the new 1.7 is to chip it

Both fuel and fuel timing aswell as the turbo boost are electronicly controled, the only u will be able to alter fueling and boost is either with a remap or a piggy back system!!.
