Ok, quick one. Ive managed to take these vents out from the dash boards which was fairly simple. Does anyone know if they split in two any way - or will they break? I was goint to paint the outer bit silver but leave the inards (blades and movable bits) black. If i can split them theyd be much easier to paint. Anyone know the score?:

i think they do split mate i remember one of mine was real tight because it was split.so i took it out and it clipped back together and its been fine

No No forget it - ive sussed it out, got them apart with a bit of gentle persuasion  And they didnt break - a first for a vauxhall component!

Chewy - are those lights off the facelift one? i was under the impression that the bonnet was a different shape! I stand corrected, shouldve believed ICY, they look tops, good work
