oh, in response to either something on mig or an email i got sent by either you or adam im 99% sure you need the 2l driveshafts if you intend fitting the 1.7 td gearbox.

do the 1.7TD and 1.7D have different boxes then?

1.7 d corsa has same as the 1.5 td.
the cav and astra use f17 big block box, therefore you need the bigblock driveshafts from the 2l conversion.

ok, spent about 4hrs callinf Isuzu europe, vauxhall and bosch and mine doesn't have one of these imobilisers

have you got fuel at the injectors?
it will have a stop solenoid on the fuel pump.
Do you have power at the solenoid if not you wont get any fuel through!

it has fuel, got 2 cans of it today and there is fuel coming out the injector pipes

whats the story of the engine is it complete as was or have you swapped about injectors.pump etc?
Was it running before?
Is the cam/pump timing spot on!

it's come from japan and has 25,000 miles on it. that's all I know
I timed the cam myself cos i had to change a pully so i know it's good, none of the parts have been changed on it

what engine is it 1.7td? isuzu.
What pulley did you change?
How did you set the cam/pump timing?

aye, isuzu TC4EE1
the belt tensioner pully, the engine mount on my car goes through the pully but the one from the 1.7 didn't and had to be swapped
I did the crank using the needle sticking out the block then the fuel pump and cam using the correct size bolts in the appropriate holes
