right i finish college in a week and a half. iv still got shit loadz of work to do so will need to finish stuff off during the summer. that means i wont get my HND in architectural technology until august/september. ya think i can still get a job in this field

Aye you should be fine choosing ur carear, there are lots of places to help you 
It could be a whiel untill you find your purfect job thou, u could always get an average job till you find it

Look now, go to companies because graduates will be looking to get into their chosen fields of work ( see what i did ... seeeee it? )
They may take you on before you get your HND.
