They look good but would look better in my dash.

I think you should paint the dash either silver/gloss black or the same as your exterior.

They just unclip into 2 halves and once thats done all you need is a pair of tweesers to unclip the movable sliding bit (the bit you move with ur thumb). It was fairly easy.

Mav - i know its an irmscher badge but at least it matches as ive got the same badges on the doors. Do you think it looks total shit like? Anyway maybe its a brand new, never seen befor, prototype irmscher grill made from the steinmetz mould, eh? eh ? no didnt think so

To get the unit out of the car - take a key or the equivalent (dont scratch the dash tho) and lever it off gentley, its a similar mechanism to a toilet roll holder. Once off push one set of the 2 pegs in with a pen (or similar) then it should fall apart. Now its just a matter of getting the sliding bit off the bit you want to paint same tpe of clips as before - use some tweesers! easy! put back together in reverse order.

hold the top of the heater vent and point it downwards, and keep pushing, it pops off.

like the side vents in the dash, how do they come out?
