I was with Preditor Sxi in his 1.5td with intercooler etc and a fit bird in a 106 quicksilver coming up against him on the duel she was edging forward which was highly amusing but then he v slowly edged ahead. she then pished past him on the next stretch and he claimed he was not trying.
This would not have happened in the Gsi

Quicksilvers are quite nippy for a 1.4 - faster than a 1.4sri so why's every1 shockered at it beating a stinky diesel

If I were driving it with high boost, I wud rape a quicksilver just like it wud a GSi. But not my problem anymore, not my car.
what is the spec tho. As it stands...what power is it running?

if you are in the wrong gear in a diesel you will have no hope! with low or no boost you might as well try to race a fiat 126
