looked behind the dash and its just an electircal plug which controls everything so guessing its not that.
i take it the temperature sensor is the one on the radiator on the left hand side at the bottom?
would this be the problem?
anyone had any problems with the gauge not working before?

this the sri engine?
theres a temp sender on the inlet manifold on the drivers side inlet num 1 i thinkhas 1 wire going to it

do you get hot air through the vents?
sure you wouldn't want to at the moment so may not notice if you weren't getting any.
just thinking your stat could be stuck open.
you'd probably have noticed shit consumption then though, or slightly rougher running, higher idle.....

yeah havnt noticed any difference in idle or running, purely think the sender is brocken or a wires loose.
so is the sender on the inlet manifold

oh is the gauge reading max all the time? think thats what it would do if the sender had gone?

ah well cant see wat else would go wrong unless it a break in a wire somewhree, i'd go for the sender as u said! LOL
