X16XE (later GSi's M-N-reg) does 0-60 in 9.5 and top whack is 119mph
C16XE (early GSi's K-L-reg) does 0-60 in 8.9 and top whack of 121mph.

Look, just because it says 127mph on the speedo does not mean its doing 127mph.
My N-plate X16XE GSi was reading 127mph on the clock when I had the Datatron timing equipment in my car but the real speed was 115mph.

Yes C16XE is a better engine to tune due to having larger inlet ports and a lower compression ration I believe? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
