Im not so sure anymmore, been driving the 306 for the past couple of days and the convertible isn't as good as i thought, i knew it would be windy and noisy but on the motorway i was freezing

Don't know whether is worth the extra few grand to get a convertible now

Not really meant for motorway speeds though is it?

E36 BMW are horrible unless you got all the windows up, and anyone in the back seats are gonna get it full on in the face from the wind!

Have done 155mph with the roof down in a mates M3Evo (private road *cough cough*) and that was suprisingly comfortable all things considered!!

Phase 1 2.0 16v pininfarina 306 cab in yellow.

To die for.

Each to their own i guess, but i've always read about a love for these on all different forums!

has had loads of electric problems with it and its not really as fast as I thought it would be for a 2.0 16v

Drivin a phase 2 in china blue at the mo, its nice but nothing special.

Yeah it would be a E36 id get, but for the same money i could get a 6 year newer coupe or a E46 4 door!

Didnt you have an E36 at some point?

Convertable 318 with leathers, the M3 clear lights and twin exhaust

just please dont stick an M3 badge on it!

Apparently the E36 3 series cabs are very stiff, not blowy etc., certainly better than anything of comparable price. If you want a shocking chassis, the Volvo C70 has been known to set the roll over hoops off when you drive off pavements!
