On my sub box do i need to put an air hole in to make it sound better or not, as i have been told two different things????

depends what sort of music ure into etc etc...its know as porting

it's not just a case of cutting a hole in the box. you have to match up the size of the box to the size of hole and length it goes back.

is your sub ment for a ported box or a sealed 1 you can also get free air subs which you mount like you would speakers
