Can I just use a fast-charger to run it, or will i need some fairly heavy-duty transformer??
I'm gettin bored of the 200W 8" sub I've got hooked up to my soundsystem atm... (its one of those bass-tube things you get for cars, currently running of a regular 12v transformer runnin at 14.4v)

yup - wana replace the 8" sub i got hooked up atm, gona be puttin the 12" beut under the bed so acts like a resonance chamber in some sort of effect!
There is a 19v DC output from the TV, but thats low current also, so will be using that to activate a relay to switch the amp on & off with the tv
