I have the 512 now but i'm thinking of upgrading to the 1MB. Would it be worth it if you just used you PC for browsing and the odd small vid download

How much diffrence is there in the 2

About 512k/s


I went straight for the 1mb, at least if it's running at half-steam you'll still be on a healthy d/l speed. Plus I was on 56k for far too long and had a lot of porn downloads to catch up on

If you just used your PC for that, it's probably not worth it.
You'd only notice it if you downloaded heavily.

im on 1mb and its great, well compared to my rents 56k which im using at the moment its amazing!

Well at 512k/s you probs download at 60k/s round about?

1Mbps downloads at 120k/s.

If you feel the need to upgrade and can afford it then go for it.

if your on blueyonder then 512k has already been upgrade to 750k, 1mb has been upgraded to 1.5mb, and 2mb has been upgrade to 3mb
