Rightr just got off the phone with the bodyshop,
They say they may not be able to wire the solenoids for my doors to the alarm, so theyll have to do buttons under wing mirrors.
The problem is theyll be active all the time. So does this mean when my alarm is armed/on that you can open the doors or will it not work as the doors would techinically be locked?
I think i am being stupid but i have confused myself
lil help guys
Clifford concept 300 btw

they CAN wire them in as I HAVE DONE IT!!!!
mate u take the wire from the alarm aux chanel 1 or 2 output to a relay (ull need diagram tho for what connection on relay to connect to)
you then take TWO LIVES wires to the realy AND the wire from the PLUS on the solinoid
then earth the solinoid
this will use earth one of the lives in the relay when the aux output is selcted and make a circuite for the other live which fires off to the solinoid and powers it
set the aux output to a 1 second time delay - any more can see the solinoid burn
and fuse the live that goes to the solinod before the relay
and pressing button is like lifting the handle - it WILL NOT open the door
u can tap into the electronic window relay to make the mirror button power only when its unlocked
