taken one for a test drive, didnt feel like it had 45 bhp more than the mk1 clio 16v.
aslo handles worse than mates clio 16v, and thats only lowered on springs.

What kinda differences in performance are there when compared to a 2.0 16v Corsa? I'm guessing the Clio would be better handling?

That is a very impressive time, as for the handling what alot of people dont realise is that the modern day hot hatch cars with the 2ltr's in them had tens of thousands spent on them and were specifically designed to have good handling to match the extra weight of the engine where as the corsa was'nt.

Agreed, the handling on mine is amazing, gonna be getting Eibach springs soon aswell, which are supposed to make it even better.
