to find out from a dealer if any serviceing has been carried out on a car?
just by asking them>?
i need to know if my mondeo has had a cambelt change as its £300 id rather not spend

Possible but you'd need to know the dealer and they'd need to be willing to look.

you have to ask the question does a mundano deserve a new cambelt?
to answer your question tho, they will be able to tell you if the work was carried out by a main dealer. but it may have been doen by a private mechanic, and unless you speak to them you wouldnt know.

i only paid £650 for the car so another £300?
