Been running my boot pop on a solenoid for about a year, in the last 6 months it started poppin but fallin back onto the catch, meaning that someone has to lift the boot as i push the button. Anyone else experienced this? was thinkin of mounting a spring somewhere to stop it fallin onto the catch.

maybe the weight of the boot jus slams it back down? so your suspension things (cant rememebr what their called )that spring the boot up once its opened maybe worn out and weak?

if you unwind the slam mushrooms a couple of turns, they may help push the gate past it's catch.

yeah myke is right, unwind the rubber stoppers on the tailgate a few turns, theyhave probably worked there way in slightly over the last year with all the slamming of the boot. that should stop it from falling back on the latch
