Mine's 1 gig, but he wanted the type. That's written on the chip, but there's probably software out there that'll tell you.

paid 25 quid to have my pc "fixed" by the pros and its still the fucking same, just formatted my pc, lost 3 gig of downloads and its no better

I've got 1gb of PC3500 running at 450MHz

tbh unless you do alot of graphics work/coding/video editing, 512 will be plenty!
