banard castel is about the same distence for middlesbrough as newcastle when ya look on the map, so should be no complants about distence to travel!! .......caugh caugh drew ....... but not to sure what there is to do there!! if ya just want a place where we can pitch up and sit with camp fire and sing cumbyarr then it should be ok but if ya want somewhere to go for some night life then im not sure!!
