how much hassle exactly?

im having an engine conversion done, its advisable for traction control that u have abs.

abs sensors, inc all wiring
new brakelines
the abs unit
new rear drums with the sensors on
new drivehafts with the sensors on
and then i think it has to be wired to the ecu and dials aswell

id be needein nw shafts for my conversion, so does this mean if i allready had ABS it wouldnt work with the conversion?

Hmm

Guess ill just have to keep the none abs brakes then. So i need some 4-pots me thinks

you only need the sensors and hubs for the traction control system (i think)

The ABS sensors are usualy on the disk, not the driveshaft. Fitting ABS would be the biggest pain in the arse imagable. It would be easier to sell up and but a car with it on. And fitting traction control would also be a complete n'mare.

You can do it without. just think it would be a good idea to have it

£800 seems cheap btw matt, did u ring em? Where they funny about it cos of it being different engine in car etc? or ok?

d/loaded the price list mate... works out a bit more than that.. tis pish to fit btw, splices into the injector and abs loom

corsa abs is a ring and sensor on each drum
and a sensor and ring on the d'shaft just after the outer cv behind the hub

I think ill just stick with no abs for time being.

Sounds alot easier.

Matt i just downoaded the price sheet. Just seen that none of the prices inc VAT
