i went to put it on and heard something snap, now it doesent work, comes up and down the light on the pannel comes on, but does not stop the car, im takin it in tommorow, what am i lookin to pay?

A £15 handbrake cable. Should cost about £30 to have it mended, its only a quick job, and if your handy with tools you can DIY it. Nothing serious mind you - just don't do anymore handbrake turns

I did it. Absolute peice of piss. Cost £27 cos of vaux charges
Only took an hour lying under the car. Wear safety gogs, saves rust getting in your eyes.

Stick your head under the centre exhaust, check its not the S connector, thats what went on mine. Might have slipped thru, even easier to fix, and cheaper.
I have stranded cables so they had to go.
