proper type r? wtf are you on? 197bhp, 146mph, 0-60 in 6.8, 0-100 in 16.9 - for £15999 is that not proper enough? Looks have fuck all to do with it being an excellent car, LSD would be an advantage yes but to be honest you really only need it on a very wet road - and it's not safe to be ragging a car in that sort of weather anyway

Noticed a few type R drivers tailgating and generally being cocks. Thats what happens when cars get fast and affordable. You can argue they are not fast or whatever but when someone used to Saxo 1.1 gets hold of one on finance and then drives it badly...its an issue.
They look nice in Silver though, at the price you can't argue. Far nicer product than a fucking clio !
If you don't like them, don't buy one....vote with your feet. FOr my money though I'd go for an Integra Type R in import from Japan the later version that never made it here with the 2.0.
OR a Nissan S15 Silvia Turbo, what a car.

Went for a test drive in a type R. engine sounded very harsh really pulls at 6K + with the VTEC but found that it didn't really feel that fast below 5.5K revs.
Nice car but i wouldn'y buy one as i feel the interior would soon get on nerves cos there nothing in it really
Engine noisey on motorway as it revs at 4100 at 80mph
Very good car but i wouldn't have one
