hia guys,
I never actually installed my aftermarket Alpine HU in my C, just wondering how can I slide it out, wouldnt think its screwed in anywhere (cause its impossible to do from what I can see), so does it just slide out?
Going to be laying power/rca/remote cable tomorrow hopefully

take off the little surround thingy, lift up the 2 pins either side with a small screw driver and pull it out. if u cant get a grip to pull it out, unscrew ur glovebox and push it out from behind.

yeah by that little surround you are talking about the black surround around the unit yeah?

yes i think he is, there are parts either side that drop behind the cage and hold the unit in, lift these up with a screwdriver and pull on the headunit, it will be a tight fit tho.
If your laying cables then i would say take the glovebox out anyways, its only 4 screws.
