They've put some new chicanes on my road, needless to say it werent long
before I drove into one. I hit the high curb which sticks out into the middle of the
road with my drivers side front wheel. I was doing about 30 mph when I hit it,
made a HELL of a bang and knocked me head against the inside roof!!!

Massive dent in wheel (steel) and tyre bulging out, so I've chucked the wheel
and tyre. The wheel was a total write off and I didn't want to risk using the
tyre in case of broken fibres in sidewall. Amazingly, no other visible damage!!!

I put the spare on and it seems to drive OK, doesn't pull to either side.
How can I tell if camber or alignment has been knocked out?
The tyre looks flat on to the road from the front, same as the passenger side one.
Steering feels OK, in fact doesn't seem any different. I had a look at suspension
with wheel off but can't see anything that looks bent.

Any advice on what to check would be greatly appreciated.

Actually I wasnt over the speed limit. Just talking to passenger and took
eyes off road and as I was so used to driving straight down that road
forgot about the new chicane - and they didn't have the warning signs
up yet in fact they've put up some signs since I pranged mine on it.
I did it literally a day or so after they built the thing. I saw it at last minute
and swerved and nearly got round it but just clunked one wheel over the kerb.
