Considering it would be from cans i'm not 100% sure i could do it. I realise things like panel wipe would be needed as i've got some of that, i've also got primer and laquer, just need paint. The bonnet is matt black and my car is black so i'm thinking it might not need much, maybe a light rub down and then a layer or two of paint and laquer.

also what type of atmosphere is best to paint in. i have a room i can spray in and thats pretty much dust free. Its climate in there but i could put a heater in, would that be better if it was warmer?

wouldnt bother with cans anyway, wont be a good finnish at all, mainly because of the type of paint in the can, if you can get some paint mixed up by a body shop an du can get hold of a good spray gun then go for it, but if all u have is cans for a whole bonnet dont bother get a bodyshop to do the worok for u
