Right iv got a 1.2 8v corsa B which is far, far, FAR from being a quick engine so im not getting an induction kit for performance reasons but more for the noise, iv got a straight through sebring system which sounds sweet and now i want my engine to match, i fancy the BFO cos ive heard alot about its amazing sound, but im a bit concerned cos iv heard it makes your engine run like shite cos it sucks in to much hot air, what do you think i should do? Go for it or not? Also any place i can get a heat shield or how 2 make one, pics would be cool, and Finally(!) where do i get 1 from cos i heard PVD is closing or something? Help me please, sorry about the essay!!!

drill the air box if ya want noise! i had a bfo its shite fuel consump isnt as good either! lets in too much hot air!

^^agreed done mine and from standard non drilled to this the noise difference is immense, performance wise not too much but doesnt drink fuel and is a tad nippier. make sure you have the standard intake onto the front holes and a ducting hose to the drilled ones. RobHayes has (if im right) a large vent duct going from the bottom of the airbox to the arch so it goes right into the airbox (air that is).

i stuck a k&n Panel filter in as well as drilling and there is deffo a small difference in pull. i havta get some air feed to it.
i let someone else drive the car the other day and as he was pulling away the noise was so loud and i only have a standard exhaust.
