depends on the airline. some require it for ID

Most usually just want it for id, therefore a driving licence would suffice, if u visit the website it'll give u specific terms and conditions.

we had to have them from wales to ireland, dunno whether its the same tho.

yes u do now, may very on airlines but one of my relatives needed to renew hers cause she flew form luton airport to glasgow airport!

as far as I know you can travel everywhere in E.U with a driving licence or an "identity card"...
don't need a passport...

I did London-Brussels with Virgin Express and only showed my identity card...
do you have what I call an identity card in G.B???

a driving liecence would do for that journey id say

oh hang on u dont have photos on yer driving liecences do ya's?

ermm photo id u'd need and i dont mean a video shop card either
