What kinda figures would I be looking at for either conversion in my Mk3 Astra?

Was pretty much decided to go for an XE but then I got a shot in a LET and I so want one now...what kinda difference would I be looking at price wise...

dunno about a full converstion, about 800-900quid for a let, but thats just engine. best off askin venom turbo, or corb or beardy.

around £3,500 for the basic conversion iirc, for a corsa, presume its the same for an astra?

would that be from Cossvaux etc?

I would probably be looking to get it done by Lee Mitchell...all of his conversions look top notch and never heard any bad stories

lee does it drive in drive out for £1500 usually in a corsa not including suspension or brakes etc, so i would presume it would be similar for the astra, for a XE by the way

The engines are three times the price, I'm not sure where the other grand goes though? £3.5k compared to £1.5k?

This is a good point, considering its the same mounting points as the XE I take it that theres alot more involved as you need to mount the intercooler and other bits and bobs

people often over estimate the prices of the let conversion, its more expensive than the XE yes but its not as silly as some of the figures ive heard flying about

£ = ALT-0163 (ie. hold the ALT key down, press 0163 on your keypad then let go of the ALT key). Problem solved!
